Local GPs are working together to offer patients better access to appointments in General Practice in Buckinghamshire, known as the ‘Improved Access’ Service. This means you can now book an appointment in a practice local to you:
- Up until 8pm from Monday to Friday
- For selected hours on a Saturday (your registered practice can confirm which practices are open, and their opening hours on this day
- From 9am until 1pm on Sunday at one of three FedBucks Improved Access Hubs located across the county.
All appointments need to be pre-booked, either in advance or on the day.

Medical information will be kept confidential and will only be disclosed to those involved with your treatment or care, including your GP, and, if applicable, to any other person or organisation who may be responsible for your treatment or for funding your care. Under the GDPR regulations effective from 25 May 2018, we will only keep your information as long as is necessary and in accordance with the retention periods set out in the Department of Health’s Record Management Code of Practice for Health and Social Care 2016. All records are destroyed confidentially once their retention period has been met and we have made the decision that the records are no longer required.
